Alison Dennis - Fieldfisher

Alison Dennis provides intellectual property, commercial and expert regulatory advice to clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries at all stages during the life cycle of their products.
Alison has extensive experience of drafting and negotiating a wide range of specialist agreements for clients in the life sciences sector including strategic alliances, collaborations, clinical trial agreements, technical/quality agreements, tolling, manufacturing, and supply agreements. Alison’s practice also includes advising on the protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights through a variety of different structures, where clients have confirmed that Alison “does a great job” (The Legal 500, 2008).
Alison’s experience includes advising on a wide range of regulatory issues arising in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. These include complex issues arising in connection with compliance with the various codes of practice on advertising and promoting pharmaceuticals and medical devices, establishment in the EU, the regulation of clinical trials, the regulation of human tissue use, and dealings with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMEA).
Alison is a regular speaker at international conferences on compliance issues affecting the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries.
Alison sits on the Legal Committee and the Compliance Working Group of the ABHI (UK trade association for medical devices industry).
Alison regularly lectures at the University of Cambridge as part of its Masters of Bioscience Enterprise on life sciences law.

Eric Stupp - Bär & Karrer AG

Eric Stupp’s main areas of focus are bank and insurance regulations, financial institutions enforcement and M&A in the finance sector. He heads the financial services team of Bär & Karrer and advises banks, asset managers and other financial institutions in Switzerland and abroad on a regular basis. Furthermore, he advises clients in real estate transactions.
Eric Stupp was a member of Bär & Karrer's management board for eight years. He is vice-chairman of the board of directors of Goldman Sachs Bank AG, Zurich, and a member of the boards of other financial institutions and industrial companies.

Markus Schott- Bär & Karrer AG

Markus Schott has broad experience in all kinds of regulatory and public law matters including governmental supervision, administrative sanctions, and public procurement. He advises and represents clients in the banking, finance and insurance, life science and food, as well as transportation and infrastructure sectors. He also drafts expert opinions in these fields.
Markus Schott is also specialised in representing clients in administrative and civil litigation proceedings as well as in international administrative and judicial assistance matters.
He is a senior lecturer of law at the University of Zurich and he publishes regularly in his fields of interest.
