Corporate Accountability in the Context of Transitional Justice explores the existing and possible links between these areas: investigating the treatment of corporate complicity in the area of transitional justice, as well as the utility of the latter for enhancing current approaches to corporate governance. The book is divided into three parts. The first provides an overview of the current law, and of trends in the legal and political discussion, relating to both of these areas. The papers contained in the second part of the book offer an in-depth analysis of the theoretical issues surrounding the role of corporate accountability in achieving the objectives of transitional justice. The final part of the book assesses the linking of transitional justice and corporate accountability through the discussion of particular problems and cases.
