Blackstone's Police Q&As 2025 are the essential revision tool for all police officers sitting the NPPF Step Two Legal Examination. Written to follow the 2025 syllabus as laid out in the Blackstone's Police Manuals, the only study guides endorsed by the College of Policing, Blackstone's Police Q&As undoubtedly provide the most authoritative means of self-testing outside of the promotion examinations.

Arranged in three volumes: Crime, Evidence and Procedure, and General Police Duties, Blackstone's Police Q&As 2025 offer access to hundreds of multiple-choice questions designed to reinforce knowledge and understanding. Matching the only question format you will encounter in the NPPF Step Two Legal Examination, each question is followed by a detailed and comprehensive answer that highlights not only the correct response, but also carefully explains the reasoning for both correct and incorrect answers, helping you to better understand the law and how it should be applied in practice. The 2025 editions contain new and revised questions, reflecting changes in the Blackstone's Police Manuals. All three volumes have been updated in line with recent changes to legislation.
Huw Smart is a former Chief Inspector in South Wales Police with over 30 years police service and is a qualified police trainer and assessor. He has several years' experience in writing multiple-choice questions, is a part-time lecturer at Glamorgan University, South Wales and is the author ofBlackstone's Custody Officers' Manual.

John Watson is a retired police Inspector currently working in road safety. He is a qualified police trainer and assessor, with several years' experience writing multiple-choice questions that have been used for in-house training.
